Cook the Commonwealth Family Resource
To celebrate the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, a collection of over 750 recipes from the 72 countries in the Commonwealth has been put together. All the recipes are now freely available on Whisk, a recipe-sharing app which originated in the West Midlands – all you have to do is make a free account and you’ll have hundreds of recipes at their fingertips!
There is a Whisk community for each Commonwealth country, full of recipes to cook and enjoy, just search “CWG” on Whisk to find them. From Anguilla to Zambia, there are recipes that span the globe.
You can share your own recipes and try others from all over the world including from our very own chefs and members of the community in Birmingham. Let’s make this a summer celebrating our city, our cultural heritage, and our loved ones!
