Enrichment

Engage children and young people with a variety of creative, enrichment ideas.

All Bring it on Brum! holiday clubs must provide fun and enriching activities that allow children to:

  • develop new skills or knowledge
  • increase existing skills and knowledge
  • try out new experiences
  • have fun and socialise

This could include but is not limited to:

  • Physical activities (e.g football, swimming, table tennis or cricket)
  • Creative activities (e.g putting on a play, junk modelling or drumming workshops)
  • Experiences (e.g a nature walk or visiting a farm)
  • Free play (e.g fun and freedom to relax and enjoy themselves)

We expect all Bring it on Brum! holiday clubs to provide a balanced programme. For providers whose primary focus is set around a specific activity or sport, we expect them to ensure that children attending their provision benefit from a holistic and varied experience.

Looking for inspiration?

Below is a list of suggested enrichment activities available in Birmingham.

Please note: All holiday club providers are responsible for making all of the necessary due diligence checks before booking activities. All costs for enrichment activities must be included in delivery budgets and will count towards the cost per place per day.
